Privacy Policy

Summary: Most of your data stays on your device. For AI features, relevant tweet text is sent to our service, which forwards it to an LLM provider to produce a draft. We do not permanently store tweet or draft content.

1. Who runs this

XTweetly Agent, currently listed in the Chrome Web Store as XAgent, is a Chrome extension plus a small managed-AI backend. The extension keeps most data on your device; the backend processes AI requests and manages plan credits.

2. Stored on your device

In chrome.storage.local: settings, style profile, suggestion queue, local action counters, an anonymous install/device id, and, if you subscribe, your license key.

3. Processed by our AI service

When you use an AI feature, relevant tweet text and a style-profile summary are sent to the managed AI service, which forwards the request to an LLM provider. We store account metadata such as plan status, credit balance, task type, token counts, and timestamps, not tweet or draft content.

4. Payments

Subscriptions are handled by Gumroad. Gumroad processes payment details. We only use the Gumroad license key and plan status to activate Pro credits.

Actions on X run through your logged-in browser session. We do not collect separate X credentials.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your data. External data flows are limited to AI processing and Gumroad payment processing. There are no ad pixels or third-party tracking scripts in this repo.

7. Controls

XTweetly Agent starts in dry-run mode. You can use the kill switch, daily/hourly limits, and uninstall the extension to remove local data.

8. Disclaimer

Browser-session automation may conflict with X's Terms of Service and could put your account at risk. XTweetly Agent is not affiliated with X Corp.
