About XTweetly Agent
XTweetly Agent (listed in the Chrome Web Store as XAgent) is a Chrome side-panel copilot that helps you write on X (Twitter) in your own voice. It learns how you write from your own tweets, then drafts replies and original posts that you review and approve before anything is published.
Why it exists
Most "AI for X" tools write from a blank prompt, so everything they produce sounds the same — and like a press release. XTweetly Agent starts from your actual writing and scores every draft on six quality signals, so what you ship still sounds like you. The AI is managed, so there's no API key, no model picking, and no setup.
Principles
- Human-approved by default. It starts in dry-run mode with rate limits, human-like pacing, and a kill switch. You decide what goes out.
- Private by design. Your settings, style profile, and queue stay on your device. Only the text needed to draft a reply is sent to the managed AI service.
- Honest about risk. Browser-session automation can conflict with X's Terms of Service. We say so plainly — it's a personal-use tool, used at your discretion.
Who makes it
XTweetly Agent is built and maintained by an independent developer under the XTweetly project. XTweetly also runs XTweetly Platform, a separate realtime scanner/API/MCP product for X — XTweetly Agent is the creator-facing writing copilot.
